CAMPBELL, Calif. — A one-alarm fire damaged an auto repair shot in Campbell overnight and resulted in injuries to three firefighters, according to the Santa Clara County Fire Department.
The injured firefighters were taken to a hospital, where they were evaluated and released, according to the fire department. The extent of their injuries was not released.
At 11:01 p.m. Sunday, fire crews responded to reports of light smoke and flames shooting through the roof of the auto repair shop at 3375 S. Winchester Boulevard.
Fire crews quickly extinguished the blaze.
The fire department did not indicate how the firefighters were injured.
The blaze remains under investigation.
