Firefighters are trained to face life-threatening tasks each day but there is no training that can prepare them for the devastating news of being diagnosed with cancer, which is a very real risk because of their duties. Founded by Los Angeles County Fire Fighter Paramedic Mike Dubron following his own battle with the disease, FCSN has led the way in support, education, resources and countless means of assisting firefighters and their families during these difficult struggles.
