CONWAY SPRINGS, Kan. — The U.S. Fire Administration reports that Conway Springs Training Officer and Firefighter Mike Corn died Monday at the fire station.
The 68-year-old volunteer firefighter was donning his gear to respond to a fire call when he collapsed. Fellow firefighters immediately rendered medical assistance, but could not revive firefighter Corn.
The cause of death has not been determined. We will provide more information as it becomes available.
