BURLINGTON, Vt. — A Vermont firefighter died from cardiac arrest on Friday.
Firefighters found Lt. Steven N. Costello, of the Burlington Fire Department, in cardiac arrest at a fire station on July 23 and administered CPR and advanced life support.
Lt. Costello was transported to a local emergency department where he regained his pulse and was moved to an intensive care unit in critical condition, but he later died.
