Dallas Firefighters responded to a one-alarm fire this evening. Firefighters found an elderly male located in the front area of the house. The man was removed from the home and pronounced dead at the scene The Medical examiner stated that the man died of smoke inhalation. He could not be identified. Fire Investigators are working on the cause of this fire.
UPDATE: The Dallas Fire Investigation Unit has determined the cause of this fatal one-alarm fire to be unattended cooking.
