| In January 2004, a fire ignited in a hardware store in Ashburnham, Mass. The fire started when an employee emptied the ashes from the wood stove outside near the rear loading dock. It took more than 70 firefighters approximately two hours to control the blaze. The store was built in the early 1800s and was the only hardware store in town. |
