On July 20, at 2212 HRS, a five-alarm fire spread through a block-long, four-story building in Detroit. Although part of the building was vacant, it housed at least four businesses, including Piquette Market. More than 100 fire personnel battled the blaze, which was contained at 0115 HRS on June 21. There were no serious injuries.
