NUMURKAH, Australia — Eighty firefighters have spent the morning trying to control a blaze at a vegetable oil refinery at Numurkah, in Victoria’s north.
The fire was been contained to a storage area at Riverland Oilseeds in McDonald Street.
All staff were evacuated soon after the blaze started around 11:00 a.m (AEDT).
A short time ago the fire was extinguished.
The Country Fire Authority says any residents who have experienced symptoms of chemical exposure should seek medical attention.
