GREENVILLE, N.C. — Duke Energy will find out next month if it will have to pay for failing to upgrade all of its firefighting procedures.
Duke agreed to create a pilot program for reacting to fires, said the Greenville News.
It was part of a deal to allow the Ohconee Nuclear Station to run under a temporary plan, but Duke missed several deadlines for the project and faces a federal hearing in March.
