FONTANA, Calif. — Firefighters rescued a worker trapped under 1,000 pounds of granite in a truck Tuesday evening.
CBS Los Angeles reported that employees were in the process of loading granite slabs in the back of the truck when the rock collapsed and trapped one of their men inside.
Crews cut the backside of the vehicle, were able to bring the victim to safety and he was taken to the hospital in unkown condition, according to the report.
