NEW YORK CITY — Three firefighters and two other people were injured in a residential fire on Staten Island early Monday, silive.com reported.

Twelve units and about 60 firefighters responded to an attic fire in Stapleton that was reported just after 4 a.m., and the fire was reportedly under control in less than an hour.

All injured people were transported to local hospitals, an FDNY spokesperson said.
