Four firefighters were sent to the hospital with injuries after crashing on their way to a barn fire in Rapho Township, according to a news report.

WGAL reported four firefighters from the Mastersonville Fire Co. were sent to the hospital with unknown injuries after getting into a crash on their way to a fire at 3324 Sunnyside Road.

Mastersonville is a 100% volunteer department serving Rapho and Mount Joy townships.

Lancaster County dispatch said the first-alarm fire began around 3:33 a.m.

Lancaster and Lebanon County fire departments responded to the fire. The extent of damage to the barn was not immediately clear.

Dispatchers said no injuries to humans or animals were reported during the fire.
