Mayday: Md. firefighter injured in roof collapse
The firefighter was transported to a trauma center with burn injuries

PRINCE GEORGE'S COUNTY, Md. — A Maryland firefighter was injured in a roof collapse at a house fire on Sunday morning.
Prince George's County Fire/EMS officials said a mayday was called when the roof collapsed at the two-story, single-family home. The injured firefighter was transported to a trauma center with burns.
Firefighter first arrived at the scene at about 4 a.m. and found flames showing from an attached garage at the home. Two residents were able to self-evacuate and are receiving assistance from the Prince George's County Office of Emergency Management.
The fire was extinguished by about 5:45 a.m. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
Approx 4am, #PGFD units responded to 8100 blk of Finch Ct. in Landover for a structure fire. On scene, crews found 2-story single-family home w/fire showing from attached garage.
