PASADENA, Texas — A Texas firefighter was injured Wednesday morning after being pinned between two apparatus at a fire scene.
Pasadena fire officials said the firefighter was setting up an aerial ladder truck to battle an apartment fire when they became pinned, according to ABC13.
Click2Houston reports that the pinning occurred when one of the fire trucks rolled forward.
The firefighter was transported to the hospital in unknown condition, but officials said they were conscious after the incident.
The blaze reportedly started when an apartment resident fell asleep while cooking and smoking, according to the Pasadena Fire Department.
Firefighters contained the fire to one apartment unit and no other injuries were reported.
