ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — A helmet sticker that firefighters say is a symbol of brotherhood is causing controversy in a New Mexico city.
Firefighters say the letters “FMB” on the sticker stand for “Forever My Brothers,” but critics suspect the stickers have a derogatory meaning towards Albuquerque Mayor Richard J. Berry, according to KRQE.
The local union says firefighters are upset after receiving pay cuts when they had been promised raises.
