Ark. fire captain cited for sexual solicitation

FORT SMITH, Ark. — A Fort Smith fire department captain is on paid leave after he was cited for sexual solicitation while on the job, 40/29 News reported.

A Sebastian County deputy cited Robert Lewis Dean for misdemeanor sexual solicitation, according to a ticket obtained by the TV news station. Dean is accused of offering or agreeing to pay someone for sex. He was not arrested at the time of the citation and has pleaded not guilty to the charge.

Dean could not be reached for comment.

The trial date is set for Dec. 13.
