GEORGE COUNTY, Miss. — A fire chief died Sunday at the scene of a vehicle fire.
WLOX reported that Howell Volunteer Fire Department Chief Bobby Dunaway responded to a vehicle fire and was working to extinguish it when he suffered a medical emergency and collapsed, according to the George County Sheriff’s Department.
Dunaway was unable to recover after the incident and later died.
