MAGEE, Miss. — A firefighter died Saturday while on his way to a structure fire.
The Clarion Ledger reported that Magee Fire Department volunteer firefighter Dustin Grubbs, 34, was driving to a structure fire when his vehicle ran off the road and overturned.
Grubbs was a two-year veteran of the department. He leaves behind a wife and four children.
A a funeral for Grubbs is set for 1 p.m. Wednesday at the First Baptist Church of Magee, and a candlelight vigil will take place at 7 p.m. at the fire department.
