HAZLETON, Pa. — Employees evacuated International Paper in Humboldt Industrial Park when a fire alarm sounded Wednesday.

Everyone made it out safe, according to an unnamed employee.

Multiple fire companies joined Hazle Twp. Fire and Rescue to battle the fire, which resulted in calls to Luzerne County 911 just before 1 p.m.

Employees gathered in the parking lot when fire companies arrived assembling near the rear of the building.

Firefighters are actively handling the fire. No further details were available.
