Firefighter Brent Monroe Hahn died when his pickup truck collided with a tree

ANNE ARUNDEL COUNTY, Md. — A Maryland firefighter died in an off-duty crash when his pickup truck collided with a tree.

Firefighter Brent Monroe Hahn, 24, died at the scene of the early-morning crash on Sunday, WBAL-TV 11 reported.

Hahn served with the Anne Arundel County Fire Department and was assigned to Brooklyn Station 31. He had been with the department for three years.

Hahn also volunteered with the Manchester Volunteer Fire Department in his hometown.
