PITTSBURGH — Former Vice President Joe Biden delivered pizza to firefighters in Pittsburgh during a campaign stop on Monday.
The Democratic presidential nominee visited Pittsburgh Fire Fighters IAFF Local No. 1 after speaking at the Carnegie Mellon University’s Advanced Robotics for Manufacturing Insititute, according to WTAE.
The union wrote on Twitter that Biden thanked firefighters and other public safety personnel who worked security for his visit.
“Thank you sir- for the pizza, and the respect & gratitude you give to all working people,” the tweet read.
In a WTAE video of the visit, a man can be heard shouting that Pennsylvania will not vote for Biden. According to the Associated Press, the man said he was a retired firefighter.
