WISCONSIN RAPIDS, Wis. — Authorities say a 20-year-old man in Wisconsin Rapids took a dare from some children and slid down a laundry chute — only to get stuck with his legs dangling below.
Police and firefighters arrived at the home on Saturday find the man’s legs hanging from the chute in the basement. The man’s chest was wedged in the chute and he was having trouble breathing. His arms were above his head.
Authorities tried to grab the man’s arms and pull him up and out of the chute, but it didn’t work.
Firefighters eventually had to use a saw to cut a hole in the wall and pull the man to safety.
