CHICAGO — The Chicago Fire Department is battling a fire in an Oakland high-rise Monday morning.
CFD said the fire, which was upgraded to a 2-alarm at about 7:30 a.m., broke out on the seventh floor of the high-rise at 3515 South Cottage Grove Avenue.
Four people were transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, according to CFD. They said residents were evacuated for smoke inhalation.
