Several shots fired into W.Va. volunteer fire station

Three trucks were damaged after more than a dozen shots were fired into the Ona Volunteer Fire Department building

ONA, W.Va. — More than a dozen shots were fired into a firehouse Monday night.

WSAZ.com reported that three trucks were damaged after shots were fired into the Ona Volunteer Fire Department firehouse.

Cabell County Sheriff Chuck Zerkle said someone shot through the station’s garage doors, hitting radiators and transmission lines on the trucks. Two of the trucks are now out of service, according to Sheriff Zerkle.

There are currently no suspects, but investigators are looking at surveillance cameras to gather more information. No one was hurt in the incident.
