GREAT FALLS, Mont. — A police officer and three firefighters are recovering after they were struck by a vehicle at the scene of a reported domestic disturbance.

KBZK.com reported that the responders were outside of their vehicles when they were struck by a vehicle driven by someone who was not involved in the disturbance. Police officer Zaine O’Meara suffered serious injuries to his face and shoulder. He is recovering after undergoing emergency surgery.

Great Falls Fire Rescue Chief Steve Hester said the three firefighters were transported to a hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
