NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. — Firefighters, military, friends and family gathered in New Wilmington Monday to pay respects to a longtime Pulaski Township firefighter.

A line of fire trucks made its way from the Smith Funeral Home in the borough, through Wilmington Township, into Pulaski, and over to West Middlesex. Their lights flashing, they passed under an arch formed by Union and Shenango Fire Department ladder trucks that displayed a flag.

The funeral procession was en route to Haywood Cemetery in West Middlesex, the burial place for 89-year-old Phillip Kollar of Pulaski, who died Thursday. Kollar was a 62-year member of the Pulaski Township Volunteer Fire Department.
