NEW BEDFORD, Mass. — A resident who is alleged to have attacked a firefighter Saturday will be summonsed to court, police said.
At 2:03 a.m., firefighters responded to a fire alarm in an apartment at 383 N. Front St.
As they were checking the apartment, they met with an irate resident who “became violent and threatening,” according to Detective Sgt. Victor Mendes.
