DECATUR, Ala. — A shift supervisor at Morgan County Dispatch noticed two false calls on September 8th. That’s when suspicion stirred.
Morgan County 911 Director Ryan Welty explains, “We started investigating, and we got with the phone company to determine where they were coming from.”
Most of the calls came from 19-year-old Clint McAbee. A few came from an underaged friend. The calls all involved the Punkin Center Volunteer Fire Department. The twist? McAbee worked there.
