FireRescue1 wants to see your pictures! The next time you come across something inspiring, take out the camera and submit it to FireRescue1! Just remember to include your name, agency information and brief background information on the picture.
WASHINGTON — D.C. Fire and EMS crews drilled with the Roof Rope Rescue Kit on Aug. 16, under simulated smoky conditions, to lower victims from upper floors that ground or aerial ladders can’t reach.
The training is a vital skill for the city’s hard-to-access buildings.
