NANTICOKE, Pa. — Firefighters rescued an adventurous dog after it escaped onto a roof on two separate occasions in one hour.
Nanticoke firefighters first responded to a call of a dog on the roof of the house, and were able to place the dog back into its home.
An hour later, firefighters received a second call regarding the same dog. The department said the canine somehow managed to reopen the window and get back onto the roof. Firefighters escorted the dog back inside the home and secured the window again.
