Video: Ariz. firefighters rescue dog stuck in wall

Firefighters loosened the brick wall enough for Chip to squeeze his head back through the cinder-block wall

PHOENIX, Ariz. — A small dog was rescued by firefighters Wednesday morning after getting its head stuck in a small opening of a cinder-block wall.

AZ Central reported the Phoenix Fire Department, police, Arizona Humane Society and Tolleson Fire Department assisted in the rescue of the dog named Chip.

Fire officials were able to loosen the brick wall enough for Chip to squeeze his head out, according to the report.

Upon the arrival of authorities, the owner of the dog came out of the home and said she was unaware Chip was stuck.
