BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — Firefighters saved a dog from a burning home and revived him with an animal oxygen mask.
SFGate reported that firefighters from Bakersfield Fire Department pulled the dog, named Jack, to safety while responding to a house fire call.
Jack was unresponsive, but after the firefighters gave him oxygen and a back rub he regained consciousness.
According to a recent Facebook post, Jack has “significantly improved” after suffering from respiratory tract injuries and burns to his feet.
