MILL CREEK, Pa. — Five Pa. firefighters were injured when a fire truck crashed into a building early Monday.
Police say the fire truck operator appeared to suffer a medical emergency and lost control of the vehicle, according to Centre Daily Times.
It left the roadway at an intersection, rolled onto the right shoulder and struck a sign before heading back across the roadway and hitting a commercial building.
Two firefighters were airlifted to Altoona Hospital, and three others were transported by ambulance.
No other people were injured in the incident.
