SOUTH CHARLOTTE, N.C. — A Charlotte fire truck overturned in the early-morning hours Sunday while responding to a fire alarm. The driver suffered minor injuries; the other three firefighters were not hurt.
WSOCTV reports that the crash happened around 3:30 a.m. and that police did not say what caused the Ladder 32 to crash.
According to FirefighterCloseCalls.com, the rig was a reserve unit and mechanical problems may have led to the wreck.
