PHOENIX, Ariz. — Phoenix police officers are searching for two armed suspects after they allegedly tried to steal a Phoenix fire engine and fired shots at firefighters who tried to stop them.
Phoenix firefighters saw a man breaking into one of their fire engines parked in a fenced station yard on Thursday night, ABC 15 reported. Firefighters detained one of the suspects, but a second suspect opened fire at firefighters allowing both men to escape the scene.
