HENRICO COUNTY, Va. — After a firefighter was arrested for rioting during Inauguration Day, her department reassigned her to an administrative position.

Firefighter Rosa Roncales was charged with felony rioting with an anarchist group that smashed windows and started fires, according to court documents obtained by FOX17. Records show the incidents caused over $100,000 in damage.

Officials said the group smashed plate glass windows from Starbucks Coffee, two banks and lit a limousine on fire the morning of the inauguration.

Henrico fire officials said Roncales is still employed, but will remain in an administrative position until her case is heard in court. Officials said it is not likely she would remain a firefighter if convicted.

Roncales will appear in court March 9 for a preliminary hearing.
