NEW YORK — A Bronx woman has been charged with manslaughter for setting a blaze that killed her boyfriend and seriously injured three others — including a 4-year-old boy, authorities said yesterday.

Wendy Walston, 46, allegedly started the blaze on Sept. 12 in an apartment on University Avenue in Kingsbridge.

Thomas Galvin, 50, suffered severe injuries and later died at The Allen Pavillion in Manhattan.

Walston was arrested Saturday and charged with arson, manslaughter, reckless endangerment and assault.

She made incriminating statements to fire marshals during an interrogation, officials said.

A neighbor, Austin Nichols, 28, told The Post that Galvin “was a very nice guy, a pleasant person.”

He added that Galvin often did maintenance work around the building.

The injured child was in a coma for a few days but recovered, Nichols said.

The fire sent 13 people, including three firefighters, to the hospital.
