ADDISON, N.Y. — A Tuscarora, New York, firefighter suffered cheekbone fractures when police say he was assaulted while responding to an early morning barn fire.
According to My Twin Tiers, Quinn Lawless Stocum, 33, was arrested by the Steuben County Sheriff’s Department after he allegedly assaulted the first responder at a barn fire at Trappler Bros. Farm in Addison.
The firefighter, Jeremie Eccleston, will need surgery to fix the three broken bones in his face, his mother wrote on a GoFundMe campaign, asking for help with medical costs and lost wages.
Eccleston will be out of work for a few weeks, his mother wrote.
Stocum was reportedly jailed without bail and later released.
