CENTENNIAL, Colo. — A firefighter died Sunday from an inoperable brain tumor.
9News reported that Michael Freeman died at home just two months after being diagnosed with a brain tumor.
Freeman started his career in 1974; South Metro Fire Rescue said he was their most senior firefighter.
Flags will be flown at half-staff at all SMFR stations.
Funeral arrangements are pending.
