Video: IAFF holds Cancer Summit
The Cancer Summit will discuss the science linking cancer and firefighting, as well as current research on the effects of firefighting exposures

LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla. — IAFF is holding a Cancer Summit to address the science behind the leading cause of death among firefighters.
The Cancer Summit, which is being live streamed online, is being held after the Affiliate Leadership Training Summit and Human Relations Conference and will discuss several topics such as the science behind firefighter cancer and the effects of firefighting exposure, as well as recent research into prevention tactics.
The Summit will also be a chance to discuss gaps that can be identified in the fight against firefighter cancer.
