LOS ANGELES — Actor Michael Rooker thanked firefighters for their hard work while battling the Los Angeles wildfire while sharing a photo of his house in flames.
Independent Journal Review reported that the “Guardians of the Galaxy” actor first shared a photo of how close the La Tuna Canyon fire was to his home.

“My fingers are crossed that I still have a house today,” he said in the post. “A big ‘thank you’ going out to all the hardworking folks that are fighting this fire.”
The next day, Rooker shared an update of his house, saying he “may have spoke too soon.” Despite being concerned about his home, he praised the firefighters and their heroic actions.

“If it’s still standing after this is all over, it’s because of the heroic work of the [Los Angeles Fire Department] and all the other firefighters who worked to save the homes in my neighborhood,” Rooker said.
