MUSTANG, Okla. — A fire department’s fire safety performance to elementary school kids has gone viral.
KFOR reported that the Mustang Fire Department taught this year’s message, “Every second counts, plan two ways out,” to students with puppets, dress up and some great performances.
Firefighters performed a parody of Harry Belafonte’s “Day-O,” changing the words to “Stay low, stay low, big smoke come and we want to stay low.”
The video now has more than 9 million views.
