NORFOLK, Mass. — The fire department says it needs more money just to to maintain the current level of service. Of particular concern is outdated communications, Fire Chief Coleman Bushnell said.
Last week, the department experienced multiple radio outages because of outdated equipment, Bushnell told selectmen this week.
He said two new repeaters cost will cost $30,000, without any installation work.
