NEW YORK — A 77-year-old woman was killed as a fire tore through her Brooklyn brownstone, FDNY officials said Tuesday.
Two other residents living in the MacDonough St. home near Patchen Ave . in Bedford-Stuyvesant suffered minor injuries following the 11:50 p.m. fire Monday night.
The woman died at the scene, FDNY officials said. Her name was not immediately disclosed as cops first tried to locate relatives.
The other two residents were treated at the scene but were left homeless since the fire tore through the entire three-story building.
The blaze was brought under control by 1 a.m.
On Tuesday, FDNY fire marshals were trying to determine what sparked the fire.
