NEW YORK — Eleven firefighters and two residents suffered injuries after a four-alarm fire tore through three homes Wednesday.
CBS New York reported that one resident was injured after jumping from a window and one of the firefighters sustained a serious injury but is in stable condition. All the other injuries were considered minor, according to the report.
Footage from the scene shows numerous firefighters surrounding the homes and pouring water through a gaping hole in the roof of one building.
The powerful jet of water from the firefighters’ hoses toppled a chimney at one of the fire-damaged homes, according to the report.
