WASHINGTON — Two firefighters were sent to the hospital and 14 people were displaced after a fire damaged three homes Tuesday morning.
WJLA reported that the D.C. Fire Department battled an intense blaze as flames spread through attics and second floors of three homes.
Two firefighters were transported to the hospital for non-life threatening injuries, and the Red Cross came to help the displaced residents.
Officials said the fire is now under control.
