CONNERSVILLE, Ind. — One resident has died and two firefighters were injured in an apartment fire in Connersville late Tuesday evening.

According to Connersville Fire Chief Troy Tipton, a fire broke out at 11:18 p.m. in the Turtle Creek Apartments, 3600 Western Ave., which is on the north side of Connersville.

The fire started in an apartment on the second floor. It affected 12 apartments.
