TRENTON, N.J. — Two city firefighters were transported to the hospital during a two-alarm fire inside a vacant row home that kept crews busy early this morning in South Trenton.
The fire started in the basement of 621 Lamberton St. around 2:30 a.m. and flames extended to the first floor, outside and eventually into the second story attic, North Battalion Chief Frank Seidl Jr. said.
Two firefighters were transported from the scene to , one with slight first-degree burns to the face, and the other suffering from heat exhaustion. They were both treated and released this morning, Seidl said.
