HARRISON TOWNSHIP, Ohio — Two firefighters were injured Thursday morning while battling a house fire.
WDTN reported that two firefighters went to the basement to search for hotspots once the fire was contained and fire officials said a wall fell on them.
The Harrison Township Fire Chief told WDTN reporters that the firefighters suffered minor shoulder and back injuries and were taken to the hospital to be treated. They are expected to be OK.
The chief said they are still collecting evidence to find a cause for the fire, according to the report.
