SKIATOOK, Okla. — Two firefighters were transported to the hospital after a roof collapsed during a garage fire Tuesday.
One firefighter suffered injuries to his leg and the other suffered injuries to his arm. They were transported to the hospital for non-life threatening injuries.
“When we’re dealing with structural fires, they tend to weaken extremely quick because we don’t know when the structure was built or under what conditions it was built,” Fire Marshall Robert Nail told KJRH.
Crews brought the fire under control in less than an hour; the cause remains under investigation.
